A repeater station provides a reception for ABC, WIN and GWN television stations.  An appropriate antenna is necessary to access Perth commercial stations.

The ABC Regional Radio is relayed from Geraldton, with Southern Cross Austereo stations Triple M radio Northam and Merredin and Hit FM being the commercial stations. There are also two other radio stations, WAFM and Triple J.

The “West Australian” newspaper is delivered daily and the “Wheatbelt Mercury” and the “Avon Advocate” are available every Wednesday from the Caltex Roadhouse.

Tammin has a local newsletter that is published once a fortnight called the “Tammin Tabloid”.  This newsletter contains local information for all community members.
